Aradena Gorge

The Aradena Gorge is the deepest canyon in Chania, with a depth of 138 meters. This stunning gorge is not only perfect for hiking and sightseeing but is also one of the top locations for bungee jumping in Crete. The 15 km trek through the gorge leads you to the stunning Marmara Beach, providing an unforgettable adventure for all who dare to descend into its depths.

Marmara Beach

Marmara Beach is a beautiful, secluded beach located at the exit of the Aradena Gorge in the Sfakia region. The beach, with its soft, colorful rocks and sea caves, is named after the marble-like stones that adorn the shoreline. Accessible only on foot or by boat, this tranquil spot offers an idyllic setting to relax. There is also a small taverna by the beach where you can enjoy delicious food (reservations are recommended) and rent beach umbrellas for comfort.

Loutro Village

Loutro is a charming, car-free seaside village located in the southwestern corner of Crete. Once the site of the ancient city of Phoenix, Loutro has retained its traditional village feel, with no mass tourism or large hotels. It’s a haven for those seeking peace and beauty, offering stunning views, unspoiled beaches, and a unique, authentic Cretan atmosphere.
